Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using any services provided by App Basis Inc ("Company", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Services
App Basis Inc provides custom software development, mobile app development, web application development, and related technology consulting services. The scope of each engagement is defined in a separate Statement of Work (SOW) or project agreement signed by both parties.
Project Agreements
All project work is governed by a signed project agreement or SOW that specifies:
- Project scope and deliverables
- Timeline and milestones
- Payment schedule and terms
- Ownership and intellectual property rights
Payment Terms
Payment terms are specified in each project agreement. Generally:
- A deposit is required before work begins
- Milestone payments are due upon completion of defined deliverables
- Final payment is due before final delivery and handover
- Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly fee
Intellectual Property
Upon receipt of full payment, clients receive full ownership of the custom code and deliverables created for their project. We retain the right to use general methodologies, frameworks, and non-proprietary code in future projects.
Confidentiality
We treat all client information, business data, and project details as confidential. We will not disclose your information to third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
Limitation of Liability
App Basis Inc's total liability for any claim arising out of our services shall not exceed the total fees paid for the specific project giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Warranty
We warrant that our work will be performed in a professional manner consistent with industry standards. We provide a 30-day bug-fix warranty after project delivery for defects in our code.
Termination
Either party may terminate a project agreement with 14 days written notice. The client is responsible for payment for all work completed up to the termination date.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tarrant County, Texas.
